I saw this doing the rounds of Facebook a few weeks ago and had to share it. If someone knows the original author, please let me know so that I can acknowledge them appropriately.
We need to teach our daughters to distinguish between:
A man who flatters her and a man who compliments her.
A man who spends money on her and a man who invests in her.
A man who views her as property and a man who views her properly.
A man who lusts after her and a man who loves her.
A man who believes he is God’s gift to women and a man who remembers a woman was God’s gift to man.
And then teach our boys to be that kind of man.
As a parent of one girl and two boys, this is a great reminder for me.

Thank you so much for sending this on to me, Debbie (previous comment). I wish someone had taught me this years ago and it will be most helpful in raising our sons who are still at home. Thanks to you too, Darren! c
