I love the imagery of an intrepid explorer (is there any other kind?) slashing his way through the thick African jungle with a machete.

The sweat is flowing and the flies are swarming as he slowly makes his way through the vines and trees in his way.

It looks like a lot of hard work, but that’s what he has to do to get to his destination.

Of course, there’s an easier path.

It’s one that many others have taken before.

It’s flat, it’s clear, someone else has done the hard work.

You can take it if you want to, many people do.  Unfortunately, it leads where others needed to go, but probably not to your required destination.

There’s a path that you’re required to take.

It’s your path.

It won’t be easy.

There will be many obstacles in your way.

So bring your own machete.
