Imagine crossing a frozen lake.
You don’t know how thick or reliable the ice is, but you know you have to cross it to get to your destination, despite the risk and potential danger.
Imagine walking across a tight-rope between two tall buildings.
The wind is blowing, the crowd is watching, the nerves are building, but you have to give it a go.
And then there are your goals in life.
I don’t know exactly what they are, but if they are challenging enough, there will be a risk of failure, the potential to fall.
So how do you cross the lake, walk along the rope, reach your goals?
One foot in front of the other, one step at a time.
Don’t over-complicate it.
Don’t be held back by your fears.
Don’t be reckless or frivolous about the challenge ahead.
Just start walking.

I am thankful to have found your betterlifecoaching blog. The simplicity is powerful. As I struggle with doubt, fear, resistance and overwhelm beginning my own coaching certification journey this STEP BY STEP wisdom is encouraging – a comforting release of having/wanting to know it all already when I’m only at the start. Today, as I study and prepare I’ll take only one step forward and master that step planting my foot firm before attempting to advance.
