According to author, James Clear:

“Most people need consistency more than they need intensity.”

Intensity looks impressive.

In the short-term it can be very productive.

And the energy generated by intensity can be helpful at times.

But it’s consistency that matters in the long-term.

Consistent habits.

Consistent attitudes.

Consistent growth.

Clear goes on to say,

“Intensity makes a good story. Consistency makes progress.”

As much as I love a good story, it’s the daily progress that will matter most in the years ahead.
