Joe Montana is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. He won four Superbowls with the San Fransisco 49ers and was MVP of the Superbowl game a record three times.
Year after year, the team ran head coach Bill Walsh’s same offense. At the beginning of each season, Bill would install the offense the exact same way, going through each play with the team in exactly the same order.
The first play he installed every year was called “22 Z In.”
When Paul Hackett became the new offensive coordinator for the 49ers, he went through “22 Z In” with the team just as Bill Walsh instructed him.
Having been with the team for many years and won multiple Superbowls with it, Joe Montana could run “22 Z In” in his sleep. Read the rest of this entry »

In the lead up to the 1988 Seoul Olympics, the Australian swim team was unable to travel to South Korea in advance to familiarise themselves with the Olympic village and site of the swimming events.
However, Duncan’s ever-resourceful coach, Laurie Lawrence organised a trip for his squad to the World Expo in Brisbane, where they could check out a model scale of the Olympic city.

In 2011, India won the Cricket World Cup, a tremendous achievement that was celebrated ecstatically by a country that treats the game like a religion.
At the fore-front of their win was the “Little Master,” Sachin Tendulkar. One of the greatest batsmen in history, this was Sachin’s sixth World Cup and his first win, adding to his already long list of cricketing accomplishments.
He is the leading run scorer in both Test Cricket and One-Day Internationals, and even in the twilight of his career is still one of the most feared batsmen going around.
